Louis Vuitton's Vacation Ready Pre-Fall 2025 Collection Reenergizes Classic Sartorial Codes

For Louis Vuitton‘s Pre-Fall 2025 collection, the House’s creative director Pharrell illustrates a trans-Atlantic journey with reimagined sartorial styles and Dandy-inspired sensibilities.
A run of evening looks modeled against a saturated sunset is elevated with luxurious materials and sharp, refined shapes. Glamorous tailoring and classic sportswear are expressed in lustrous moire fabrics, exemplified by a rich navy blue double-breasted blazer styled with ultra-deeply pleated khaki trousers. The range strongly recalls Old Hollywood elegance with shawl-collared coats, elongated peignoirs, and driver jackets.
These elevated moments are counterbalanced with casual two-piece numbers, including a look comprising a matching denim shirt-and-shorts set accompanied by a patterned jacket that forms sailboat motifs into classic Louis Vuitton patterns. The maritime themes continue throughout with collarless tweed sailing jackets, a favorite style often worn by Pharrell, and handbags made in the shapes of lifesavers and sea animals.
The backdrop then transitions to daytime, situating the models at their final destination in the Gulf of Mexico. Under the warm Miami sun, bright pastels and jewel tones reminiscent of American prep culture come alive with matching bowling sets and silky loungewear adorned with bold stripes and neon Louis Vuitton monograms. Raffia accents the daytime looks with an organic touch, embodied in another collarless jacket with brown leather trims, and elsewhere in a sheer beige tee woven into the House’s signature Damier checkerboard pattern.
Bags including duffles, totes and backpacks transmute tropical vegetation onto the signature brown checkerboard, and elsewhere, appear in the bold stripes and bohemian raffia seen across the apparel line. Branded raffia visors are accompanied by caps boasting an LV resort-inspired logo in white, pastel pink and navy.
