With an updated design, Converse is bringing back one of its “UKIYOEPRINT” All Star Hi models. Last fall, the brand unveiled two iterations incorporated with iconic Ukiyo-e art prints from Katsushika Hokusai and Utagawa Kuniyoshi.
Utagawa’s renowned “Takiyasha the Witch and the Skeleton Spectre” is reiterated in the latest iteration, but this time it’s set against an all-black colorway as opposed to a dark gray upper with classic off-white soles. Adorning the outward-facing laterals is the highly recognizable skeleton, whose presence is now amplified with striking color contrast.
