Radry Presents a Series of Figurine Golfers
The individually numbered statues stand at 10 inches tall.
While the golf market may currently be flooded with up-and-comers aiming to shake the status quo through an evolved dress code, there remains plenty of opportunity to explore other niche areas of the game. For one man band/brand Radry, this area is art and home decor. Based in Sheboygan, Wisconsin and founded by Tony Knapton, the art project masquerading as a golf brand sells things like original prints of hand-drawn artworks and needle point putter covers – all produced in limited runs. And now Radry’s latest project is a run of individually numbered resin statues.
70 statues in total make up the release with 35 of them titled the “Radge” and the other half “Barry.” The all-black Radge is Scottish slang for someone who’s not in their right mind, while Barry hints at something good or brilliant, and two words combine to make Radry. The KAWS-like figurines are made of resin, each standing at 10 inches tall and coming with a certificate of authenticity. The brand name is embossed on the left shoe while the character’s face represents the Radry logo.
“Radry as a brand is all about mindset. It’s a mirror to life,” said Knapton. “Bad shots aren’t meant to be discouraging, but rather treated as an opportunity for growth. While good shots should be celebrated, no matter how small.”
Limited numbers of each figurine are available now on Knapton’s website for $220 USD each.
