Action Bronson's BAKLAVA Activewear Brand "Specializes In Life"
Bronson opens the label’s first lookbook, also revealing some imminent New Balance releases in its pages.
Our favorite Renaissance Man Action Bronson is exploring another creative venture. While he’s racked up many footwear collaborations with New Balance, Doctor Baklava is expanding his design scope beyond just sneakers, unveiling the first lookbook for his BAKLAVA brand’s line of activewear – which, if you look closely, comes complete with a few first-time looks at Bronson’s forthcoming New Balance silhouettes.
BAKLAKA’s debut drop is just around the corner, its release date aligned with the New York City Marathon – for which Action Bronson and New Balance are hosting a pre-marathon 5KM shakeout. The collection spans a colorful compilation of sportswear silhouettes, including windbreakers and shells equipped with ample pocketing as well as technical tees and shorts and even a neon BAKLAVA x NPR graphic t-shirt. Each item is stamped with minimalistic BAKLAVA branding.
The brand, which “specializes in life,” is a project Bronson has been teasing for a while on Instagram, dropping off visuals and teasers on his feed. He chose to spotlight some local athletes in a recent campaign ahead of the marathon, including a little blurb about each member. Check it out below.

As for the footwear, models – one of whom is rapper Meyhem Lauren – flex three new models dubbed the Minimus Trail shoe which now lands in burgundy, the FuelCell Rebel v4 running shoe in turquoise and the multicolored 990v6.
Last week, Bronson revealed additional fresh takes on the FuelCell Rebel V4 and Minimus Trail silhouettes, also confirming their November 1 release date.
