HIDDEN.NY and ASICS Reunite for GEL-Venture 6 Shield Collaboration
The wallet-friendly trail runner from the latter half of the 2010s is back in bold fashion.

2024 has been a year of bridge-building for HIDDEN.NY. The Internet’s most famous moodboard has leaned heavily into enhancing its IRL presence, and a big part of that push has been through its collaborations with ASICS. Back in March, the two linked up for their first collaboration, a crisp GEL-NYC accompanied by an experiential pop-up where customers became “employees” of an unnamed company, sitting through a training video and even paying the “boss” a visit before getting their shoes — and now, they’ve readied their second project by reviving the GEL-Venture 6 Shield.
A water-resistant version of a wallet-friendly ASICS trail runner from the latter half of the 2010s (it was released in 2017, then dropped in a slightly updated iteration in 2019), the GEL-Venture 6 offers a hybrid look that’s half road running and half trail running. HIDDEN.NY has amped the silhouette up with a green Tiger stripe, light grey accents including a rubberized toe cap and translucent, co-branded tongue tags split between HIDDEN.NY and ASICS logos.
Though this is the first time the GEL-Venture 6 has been seen this year, it’s not its first collab: past years saw releases created with atmos and IAB-Studio. You can expect the HIDDEN.NY x ASICS GEL-Venture 6 shield to see an online release sometime before the end of the year.
