Nike continues to expand its lineup with Coach Prime aka Deion Sanders, in its upcoming release. Specifically, the next Air DT Max 96 pays tribute to Coach Prime’s NFL legacy, especially his time with the Atlanta Falcons. The upcoming colorway draws inspiration from a color scheme that consists of black, anthracite grey, metallic silver and fire red — reminiscent of Atlanta Falcons’ team palette. The shoe also honors Sanders’ early years in the league with a white branding design seen on the Max Air unit. The #21 is seen on the back of the heels as a nod to Sanders’ jersey number with the Falcons. The outsoles continue to give a nod to Coach Prime, paying tribute to his larger-than-life persona. Sanders first joined the Falcons as the fifth overall pick in the 1989 NFL Draft and became one of the most versatile cornerback, kick returner and on occasion a wide receiver.
