Globe-Trotter Launches Limited-Edition 007 'Goldfinger' Carry-on Suitcase
Inspired by the James Bond’s metllaic silver Aston Martin DB5.
In celebrating the 60th anniversary of 007 Goldfinger, Globe-Trotter has unveiled a limited-edition collection dedicated to the iconic film.
The release features a special carry-on suitcase inspired by James Bond’s Aston Martin DB5 as well as his gray and white Glen Check three-piece suit. Mirroring the DB5’s exteriors, the four-wheeled luggage arrives in a high-gloss metallic silver finish, complete with Globe-Trotter’s signature corners and handles in black leather. Meanwhile, the suitcase’s lining comes in a digitally reinterpreted Glen Check pattern as a nod to the 007 agent’s outfit. Limited to 60 units, every example of the 007 Goldfinger Carry-On Case boasts a price tag of £3,895 GBP (approx. $5,111 USD) and features a unique serial plaque.
In addition, this limited-edition release includes a set of three number plate charms that can be attached to the suitcase. Echoing the three-way rolling license plate on James Bond’s Aston Martin DB5, each variant reflects the agent’s number plates in the UK, France and Switzerland respectively. The British and French number plate charms are available individually for £185 GBP (approx. $243 USD), while the set of three is priced at £495 GBP (approx. $650 USD).
The collection is now released on Globe-Trotter’s website as well as flagship stores in London, Paris and Tokyo. The limited-edition cases will also be avaiable through the 007 website as well as select department stores.
