The Rock made an explosive return to Saturday night’s WWE Bad Blook live event.

While he did not do much, his short appearance was enough to send the arena into a frenzy. Playing off the less is more idea, The Rock made his entrance, interrupting Roman Reigns and Cody Rhodes’ celebratory moment in the State Farm Arena in Atlanta, Georgia. His appearance signifies that the Final Boss is back after The Original Tribal Chief and The American Nightmare defeated Solo Sikoa and Jacob Fatu. As Cody held the championship title over his head, The Rock made his entrance with his theme song blaring and crowd screaming. The Great One shows up with his own People’s Champion belt, staring down Roman and Cody, and later counting to three before motioning the fingers across his neck.

The simple act was a great signifier that the Final Boss is back, whether it is to be the architect behind the big tag match that will involve Roman Reigns, Solo Sikoa and others at Survivor Series: WarGames next month or to throw his weight around in the ring. Jimmy Uso also made an appearance and the Rock also stared him down the ramp. Cody Rhodes and The Rock have long been rumored to headline one of the two nights of Wrestlemania 41 in Las Vegas though it has not yet been confirmed. With The Rock’s appearance earlier this weekend, it signifies that there may be something more.

Following his appearance, The Rock took to Instagram Live to explain the electrifying return to Bad Blood. He said, “The Rock is feeling a lot of things about what he just witnessed. There’s been a bunch of bullshit that’s been going on in the past six months…You want to know what The Final Boss was feeling about all that? The Final Boss will tell you, but The Final Boss will tell you when The Final Boss is ready to tell you.”
