Update: The Nike LeBron 22 just made its grand debut last week and there are plenty more launches to come, including a two-part collaboration with Monopoly. After unveiling its money-covered colorway last week, Nike is back with a complete preview of the “Deep Royal Blue” take. Its blue and gold build, which we detailed previously below, is set to drop on November 19 via Nike SNKRS and select retailers at a starting price of $200 USD.
Original Story: Nike and Monopoly are expanding their creative partnership with a new release of the LeBron 22 in a “Deep Royal Blue” colorway. The first Monopoly x Nike LeBron 22 surfaced earlier this spring, but this colorway has not yet been seen before. Instagram account @cobrakicks gives an initial look, showcasing laser-etched graphics that emulate the luxurious properties from the Monopoly board. The premium theme is highlighted with the gold accents throughout the shoe, as well as the metallic Swoosh. The Monopoly-themed tag hits the shoe’s lateral side, bridging board game culture with basketball. The shoe is slated to arrive in a co-branded special packaging and is set to release in mid-November.
