The Nanga x Pilgrim Surf + Supply Parka Is Puffy and Packable
A “wearable sleeping bag.”
Nanga has been locked in as of late, focused on evolving its outdoor silhouettes and styles just in time for the dropping temperatures. Fresh off an 18 East collaboration, the Japan-based brand has enlisted the likes of Pilgrim Surf + Supply for another equipped-for-exploration garment.
Described as a “wearable sleeping bag,” the Nanga x Pilgrim Surf + Supply Expedition Down Parka takes after its name. Defined by its convertible structure, the thin puffer jacket is easily able to be packed up and put away in its accompanying stuff sack when it’s not being worn.
Staying true to its minimal design, the Parka pops up in four different colorways of Mocha, Olive, Black and Sudan Brown. Lightweight and packable yet still insulating, both the jacket’s shell and lining are crafted from recycled nylon ripstop. Pocketing lands on the front of the silhouette, with adjustable cuffs and an adjustable hood rounding it all out. Subtle branded hits appear on the sleeves and internal tags.
