Nike has revealed its new Terminator High, which pays homage to the Portland Trail Blazers NBA title.

In 1977, the Portland Trail Blazers prevailed over the Philadelphia 76ers to win their only NBA championship title to date. Aside from the championship, the team has also won three conference titles in 1977, 1990 and 1992.  As such, the new Terminator High appears in the team’s signature red, white and black colors. Crafted from premium leather, the majority of the shoes’ upper appears in black, but the accents of red and white grace the vamp, tip, rubber midsole and Swoosh. Also appearing on the shoes is the Nike name on the heels and the “77” (nodding to the championship year) on the upper tongue.

Since 1985, the Nike Terminator High has made rounds in a variety of colors – supporting celebrated sports teams like the Seattle Supersonics and Georgetown. So the newest addition just extends the basketball-oriented shoes’ sporty cadence. For more street-focused looks, the Nike Terminator sometimes offers up low silhouettes too.

Take a closer look at the new shoes in the gallery above. Priced at $125 USD, the Nike Terminator High “Portland Trail Blazers” is set to release in the coming months.
