Ventura, California-born outerwear label GRAMICCI has teamed up with meanswhile for a new collaboration that is fit for climbing.

With GRAMICCI’s outdoor-oriented clothing and meanswhile’s outlook on “tools for daily life,” the new offering provides a vision of versatility. Although small in offering, the collaboration perfectly blends their two personalities. The “Active Insulation” collaboration sees a zip-up jacket and accompanying pants inspired by GRAMICCI’s climbing pants. The jacket appears in an Octa, high-performance fabric that boasts sweat absorption, light-weight, quick-drying, heat insulation and heat shielding capabilities. Next up are the pants which appear in a tussar material that utilizes recycled nylon taslan yarn.

Aptly matching industrial or natural settings, both pieces are dipped in shades of charcoal and gray. Additional details include Teijin active insulation fabric, napped mesh fabric, GRAMICCI’s signature one-hand adjustable webbing belt, a 180º gusset that opens with the body and a drawcord adjustable hem.

Take a look at the new items in the gallery above. The new GRAMICCI x meanswhile “Active Insulation” collaboration is set to release on Friday, August 11.
