A Crisp "Phantom" Covers the Nike Air Force 1 Wild
Serving as one of the new silhouette’s launch looks this November.
At the end of last month, Nike signaled its transition from summer to fall product with reveals such as the newly-designed Air Force 1 Wild popping up. Again, the brand has iterated upon a staple in its repertoire — upgrading the Air Force 1 Low with a build that is ready for exploration, drawing inspiration from shoes such as the Air Humara. With its first two looks, the silhouette has stuck to fall palettes, balancing black, orange and brown.
Now, the Air Force 1 Wild takes a fresh approach with a “Phantom” presentation that favors a lighter, monochromatic finish. From collar to outsole, the shoe dons various off-white hues that serve as a canvas to showcase one’s wear with pride. Again, a ballistic nylon reinforces the upper’s base while a pronounced suede appears at the overlays and Swooshes in a slightly-darker hue. Per usual, the checkered midsole makes a return with the strengthened outsole supporting the sneaker with a special tread at the toe and heel.
While Nike has yet to formally introduce the Nike Air Force 1 Wild, this “Phantom” colorway is currently expected to land on shelves starting November 2 via Nike and select retailers at a price of $140 USD in women’s sizing.
For more of the latest and greatest from the footwear space, another outdoor-oriented sneaker, the Air Max 90 GORE-TEX, had appeared in a “Medium Olive” colorway that is a fitting fall look.
