A-COLD-WALL*’s Patchwork Bomber Is Inspired by Americana Sportswear
A pre-Fall release from Samuel Ross’ brand.
A-COLD-WALL* has debuted a piece from its pre-Fall offerings, its Patchwork Bomber. Featuring applique patches, the navy bomber spells out ACW* across its chest.
The garment takes the design of a classic varsity-style jacket, closable with snap buttons. The brand’s name is subtly printed on one of the jacket’s front panels, while crisp white stitching directs a viewer’s eyes to a black leather tag on one of the center buttons. Also in the front of the jacket are two asymmetrical slash pockets.
Constructed from a heavyweight wool mix and finished with a melton cloth, the design is made complete with a ribbed collar and cuffs, offering some shape to the jacket, even if one chooses to wear it oversized. Dark grey leather sleeves round out the bomber for a classic Americana feel.
A-COLD-WALL*’s Patchwork Bomber is priced at £1,790 GBP ($2,279 USD). The first round of orders will ship out in three weeks.
