The debut partnership between Salomon and A-COLD-WALL* reinterprets Salomon’s technical trail heritage through a distinct post-industrial design language. Redefined through the architectural lens of A-COLD-WALL*, the ACS Pro intentionally exposes every panel, seam and layer to contrast the shoe’s rugged outdoor structure with design precision. Playing with deconstructed forms and industrial textures, the upper features a prominent floating cage structure, a technical asymmetric lacing system, and a dual upper structure built from rugged Matryx® Kevlar® mesh to deliver exceptional durability and steady support.
The collection introduces two contrasting color treatments that completely alter the visual impact of the silhouette’s exposed geometry. The “Black Olive/Bog/Icicle” variant relies on a muted, weathered palette, featuring intentional blocking of neutral tones that transition from a dark toe box and lower mudguard to olive-green lace panels and a pale, icicle-toned side cage. In contrast, the “Bluing/Earth Bro/Black Olive” iteration delivers a bold, high-contrast look, pairing a vibrant royal blue mesh and metallic gray base. This execution is punctuated by sharp hits of high-visibility yellow tracing the lacing hardware, all anchored by a technical midsole unit.
Releasing on July 1, 2026, the rollout is accompanied by a London-based campaign featuring contemporary jazz musician Shabaka Hutchings and artist Reek0, capturing how seemingly different creative worlds find common ground through community and shared expression.
