Salomon has unveiled a Japan-exclusive ACS Pro silhouette dubbed the “Nami Pack,” a design that reimagines the brand’s technical 2000s heritage through the lens of traditional Japanese artistry.
Drawing inspiration from Japanese wave motifs, the sneaker combines the organic curves of Hokusai’s “The Great Wave off Kanagawa” with the rhythm of digital sound waves. Rendered in a palette of washed indigo, white and touches of black, the colorway evokes the deep tones of traditional indigo-dyed fabrics. Special details include wave-pattern tongue labels and insoles, reinforcing the theme across the shoe’s branding. Durable Kurim overlays paired with breathable mesh side panels define the upper, while the tongue and quarters feature streamlined construction with custom “wave” graphics.
The sole unit is equipped with Salomon’s Agile Chassis™ System and an EnergyCell™+ midsole for cushioning and stability, while an OrthoLite® insole ensures comfort, breathability, and durability.
