Lil Durk Releases Hard Hitting Anthem “F*ck U Thought”
Following the drop of May’s ‘Almost Healed.’
Lil Durk is continuing to share new music just a few months after dropping his latest album, Almost Healed. His collaboration with J. Cole, “All My Life,” had been certified platinum and the Chicago rapper shows no signs of slowing down.
He’s returned with a fresh single called “F*ck U Thought.” Over a simple piano melody, Durk raps about having put in the work and not wanting to take any losses now that he’s made it this far.
“You can’t blame me, I done put in too much work / Only reason they know your name because of Durk / You tryna slide just to slide, that shit don’t work,” he raps in the chorus.
The song was produced by Chopsquad DJ and arrived with a visual that, to match the song’s lyrics, shows Durk flexing his chains and money and wearing designer clothing.
