Converse Japan Launches Starfire SC J Series
Available in three different colorways.
Converse Japan has unveiled its latest Made in Japan offering, a series of Starfire SC Js available in an original red colorway alongside two new additions in grey and black. The silhouette, which draws on inspirations from the late 70s Star Cruiser combines both classic design and modern technology for a hybrid of style and utility.
Notable design elements include long-haired suede layered on top of a Cordura ripstop base and a Vibram Megagrip sole that is up to pretty much any task you throw at it. Beyond its impressive durability, the Starfire SC J features Ortholite insoles that are sure to provide lasting comfort.
An exact release date has not yet been shared at the time of writing, however, Converse Japan has the series listed for ¥22,000 JPY a piece or roughly $150 USD, with an arrival notification reminder available via its official site.
