Throughout recent years, Sanrio has teamed up with a variety of sneaker brands to produce all sorts of footwear bearing the franchise’s beloved characters such as Hello Kitty. Notably, this has included both Nike and adidas since 2022. Now, following an expansive list of collaborative releases as a duo in 2018, Sanrio has rejoined Converse Japan for four themed colorways of the All Star.

Kicking things off, the All Star Hi in red sees My Melody in two different stances printed at the lateral heel, complementing the medial heel’s bow-adorned badge branding. As for the All Star Ox, its sole colorway has been covered in a white fluff with Hello Kitty’s red bow at the lateral midfoot of each shoe. Hello Kitty is spotlighted once again on the All Star Hi with the canvas upper’s off-white hue bearing two looks for the character at the lateral heel while the medial’s badge branding sees her bow encircling it. Lastly, Cinnamoroll’s light blue All Star Hi matches the shoe’s other looks with the puppy depicted via two playful graphics and clouds surrounding its badge.

If you’re looking to pick up one of the four Sanrio x Converse Japan All Star pairs, release is scheduled for July 21 via atmos stores at a price of ¥13,200 JPY (approx. $95 USD) for the All Star Hi colorways and ¥15,400 JPY (approx. $111 USD) for the All Star Ox.
