As Orient continues to expand its Mako series, the latest model to join the lineup is the Mako 40. Arriving in 5 different colorways, three of the selection are paired with metal bracelets, while the remaining two comes with leather straps.

Debuting a much more compact case size than its predecessors, the new Mako 40 measures just a little shy of 40mm in diameter. Both the case and bezel are composed of stainless steel, accompanied by a timeless dial design that combines legibility and efficiency.

For the metal bracelet versions, the dials are offered in essential hues such as black, navy, and white. Elsewhere, the Apricot dial comes with a brown, pull-through calfskin strap, while the Lilac-hued variant is paired with gray.

In nature, the Mako 40 is essentially a diver watch and naturally, it’s equipped with a 20-bar water resistant. Inside, it’s powered by an in-house F6722 automatic movement with 40 hours of running time, ensuring a stable, precise, and accurate reading of time.

Simple, sophisticated yet sporty, it’s designed to accommodate any look, day, and gender. Available now via Orient’s official website, the assortment of time-tellers has a price range of £330 – £350 GBP (approximately $424 – $450 USD).

In case you missed it, NOMOS’ Ahoi Neomatik 38 Date arrives in two summer-ready hues.
