NOMOS’ Ahoi Neomatik 38 Date Arrives in Two Summer-Ready Hues
Aptly named Sand and Sky.
NOMOS has unveiled two new Ahoi Neomatik timepieces starring color dials that nod and encapsulate the summer season.
Aptly named Sand and Sky, the Ahoi Neomatik arrives in stainless steel round case, measuring 38.5mm in diameter, and 9.8mm in height. Beneath its anti-reflective and dome-shaped sapphire crystal, houses a modern dial affixed with Arabic numerals, a small seconds aperture, luminous hands, and a date display.
The sporty and elegant Sand comes in a soft, muted golden hue that subtly boasts a fine shimmery finish that is reminiscent of sunset walks at the beach. Meanwhile, Sky is outfitted with a refreshing pale blue dial that evokes memories of the sea, swimming pools, and azure, summer skies.
In terms of technical specifications, the Ahoi Neomatik runs on the DUW 6101 automatic movement, which features a NOMOS’ own swing system, proprietary escapement, and a patented date mechanism all encased to safeguard the piece even if it’s 200 meters underwater.
The Ahoi Neomatik 38 Date is paired with tailor-made textile straps crafted in France. Both are currently available for purchase at NOMOS’ official webstore for the price of $4,320 USD each.
Elsewhere in watches, Oris releases a limited-edition Hank Aaron timepiece.
