Oris Releases a Limited-Edition Hank Aaron Timepiece

In celebrating Oris’ long-standing relationship with baseball, the watch brand just unveiled a new and special release: the Hank Aaron Limited Edition.
In homage to baseball Hall-of-Famer, Hank Aaron and his dedication to humanitarian work, the limited-edition timepiece features a color palette of blue, red, and white that nods to the legend’s baseball uniform.
Cased in a multi-piece stainless steel build, the watch measures 40mm in diameter. Its dial is adorned with lume-filled hands and Arabic numerals, encircled with an outlined minutes ring. The piece runs on the Oris 754 movement that provides up to 38 hours of running time, and 5 bar of water resistance. A blue leather strap accompanies the watch, complete with an additional stripey NATO strap.
On this release, Oris’ Co-CEO, Rolf Studer explained, “To be able to collaborate with the Hank Aaron family and the Chasing the Dream Foundation, and to commemorate Hank Aaron, is a true honor. Mr Aaron is an inspiration. He broke down racial barriers, rewrote the record books and devoted his life to the service of others.” He also added that “For Oris, it is a great privilege to be able to support his legacy and the foundation as it continues its mission to bring Change for the Better to the lives of disadvantaged young people.”
Available now via the watchmaker’s official website, the Oris Hank Aaron Limited-Edition timepiece is now offered in a run of 2,297 pieces with a price point of 2,300 CHF (approximately $2,652 USD).
