Gucci Mane made it clear on “Married with Millions” that he’s focused on getting the bag: his latest power play in doing so consists of capitalizing on the success of Christopher Nolan‘s summer blockbuster Oppenheimer. Guwop is now “Woppenheimer”.

It appears the idea for “Woppenheimer” originated on Twitter, after a fan posted a meme infusing the rapper into the film’s poster with the caption, “if it was’09, I know @gucci1017 would’ve dropped the tape today.” Gucci collaborated with the Twitter user @kyaxcheeks to fine-tune this same graphic for the single’s cover art.

The rapper tapped Omar The Director, who also directed the video for “Married With Millions” for the “Woppenheimer” music video. As Gucci also made clear in “Married with Millions,” he’s a family man now. His wife and kids make another appearance in the “Woppenheimer” video, and Gucci reinforces his loyalties to his family in the punchy chorus.

“Broke people like bringin’ up the past, I’m talkin’ recently (what the f*ck?) / I know what I did for you, but what you did for me? (what you did for me?) / Shoutout to my wife, she had a daughter and a son for me (my son) / Shoutout to my brother, down bad, he made that bond for me.”

“Woppenheimer” is available to stream on Spotify and Apple Music. Stream the music video above.
