MUJI Brings Its Minimalist Styling to Kamogawa Airbnb

Japanese retail company, MUJI, is known for its minimalist styling that traverses home goods, clothes, travel products and more. But some of the most eye-catching activity from the brand is its venture into homes – like its minimal prefab house in Yamaguchi, Japan. Now the brand expanding its catalog with its new Airbnb in Kamogawa, Japan.
Entitled Muji Base Kamogawa, the residence is located outside of Tokyo in the former Noda Printmaking Workshop. But what stands out about Muji Base Kamogawa is its transformation of the 100-year-old house. The hallmark of the home are its modern updates that are fused with the aged character – revealing a love for the modern free lifestyle that is integrated with nature. Of course, MUJI’s clean aesthetic washes over the entirety of the space’s interior and even includes a lineup of its products.
Additionally, the stay also includes MUJI’s light meals and offers a variety of experiences from visiting a dairy farm to melon harvesting.
