The month of July is defined as one of activity, expansion and hard work. And when it comes to the footwear scene, this has rung true given that we’ve seen a flurry of sportswear brands including Nike, adidas, New Balance and more actively expand their catalogs with major collaborative projects and inline offerings. As the month draws to its last full week, all of your sportswear labels will aim to upgrade your summer rotations with new offerings, but before we dive into those, let’s first recap the biggest sneaker moments that emerged last week.

Starting out with Hypebeast exclusives, our Sole Mates series added another feature to the stash that involved Beatrice Domond discussing her Vans Zahba Mid. In terms of news, we witnessed Nike and Jordan Brand preview a sizable amount of new styles. The former announced its CLOT x Nike Dunk Low “What The” collaboration, revealed a Barbie-friendly Dunk Low, officially unveiled its Off-White™ x Nike Air Force 1 Mid “Sheed” and teased its Nike Ja 1 “Halloween” colorway. Its Jumpman family revealed a special Air Jordan 2 Pack that it gifted to Carmelo Anthony to celebrate his NBA retirement, flexed its forthcoming Air Jordan 13 “Wolf Grey” and showed off a closer look at Travis Scott’s Jordan Cut the Check sneaker in the latest “K-POP” music video.

Switching sides to the Three Stripes, adidas teased another Sporty & Rich x adidas Samba team-up and unveiled multiple YEEZY colorways such as the adidas YEEZY QNTM “Orange,” adidas YEEZY 500 High Tactical Boot “Sand” and the adidas YEEZY SLIDE “Slate Marine.” Other captivating pieces that caught our attention were Marni’s new “BIG FOOT 2.0,” Aimé Leon Dore’s SS24 New Balance 860v2 collection and Dekmantel’s Salomon XT-4 OG.

Now that we’ve got you up to speed with the latest and greatest in footwear, let’s get into this week’s best releases here below. When you’re done checking those out, be sure to head over to HBX to shop for more footwear styles.

Why You Should Cop: After working with New Balance earlier this year for a 574 team-up, Stone Island has reunited with the Boston sportswear imprint to produce a fresh FuelCell C_1 collaboration. A quick lace toggle system is implemented along with a motion New Balance logo that’s embroidered into the forefoot and toe boxes. Additionally, the heel molds are styled with raised Stone Island logos that cut off halfway before meeting the semi-chunky, FuelCell-loaded bottoms.
