K-Pop Superstar Taeyong Is LOEWE's Latest Global Brand Ambassador
Just in time for LOEWE’s SS24 men’s runway at Paris Fashion Week.
LOEWE is having a memorable 2023 thus far, leaning in to both cohesive simplicity and notable statement pieces including the Pixel capsule, Grass Sneakers, and Pom Pom Coat. Most recently, Jonathan Anderson tapped full-time K-pop star and part-time fashion icon Taeyong as the brand’s new global ambassador.
The lead singer of South Korean boy band NCT is no stranger to the high fashion space. Taeyong has showed his love for LOEWE, having recently appeared at their FW23 show in Paris donning a head-to-toe look from the brand. Therefore, it’s only fitting that Taeyong make his official global brand ambassador debut back in Paris at LOEWE’s upcoming SS24 men’s runway.
Creative director Jonathan Anderson is elated to bring Taeyong and his fashion expertise to the team. “He has a special connection to the brand, having admired and worn LOEWE for a long time,” Anderson shared in a press release. “We love his idiosyncratic style.”
Notorious in the music world for his experimental transformations and admirable range, Taeyong is a K-Pop polymath who sings as well as raps, and works with multiple groups, from the above-mentioned NCT to Super M (between whom he’s been a part of four #1 albums in Korea), as well as his solo work. Taeyong is equally as excited to join forces with the Spanish luxury house, specifically shouting out LOEWE’s “philosophy and unique way of communicating.”
