The Spring/Summer 2024 season has wrapped up for Milan Fashion Week and attendees dressed right for the warmer season. While in the past Italian tailoring was an overwhelming site at fashion capital, this year, showgoers proved to be more laidback with their style

Milan Fashion Week brought forward your typical staples, including Prada, Zegna, JW Anderson and more. The casual look might have been propelled by the hot summer weather, with shirts unbuttoned almost all the way down, while mesh shirts and crocheted tank tops were a prominent alternative.

While casual was the way to go, those who continued to wear suits, did find a way to make it an informal look. Oversized blazers and trousers continue to be the trend. For those combatting the heat, pleated skirts or shorts trousers were an alternative to the typical suiting pairing. Denim jeans were the typical pairing for the everyday look, as were jorts. Keeping to a vibrant palette, abstract patterns button downs or skin tight shirts proved to be a point of interest. In menswear, fluidity continues to be imprinted throughout the styles, with comfort at the focus.
