Take a First Look at 'Super Mario RPG'
A modern take on the SNES classic.
Fans of Mario were treated to an exciting Wednesday with Nintendo revealing both Super Mario Bros. Wonder and a remake of Super Mario RPG. While it may not have made our list of the best Mario games of all time, Super Mario RPG is a beloved SNES classic that is still enjoyed to this day. Celebrating this, Nintendo has prepared a faithful overhaul of the title with modern gameplay and graphics.
Mario, Bowser and Peach are joined by the original characters of Mallow and Geno with Star Road in need of saving. Taking on the mischievous Smithy Gang, the heroes step into a refreshed world that Nintendo has showcased via the game’s debut trailer.
For those looking forward to the release of Super Mario RPG, it is currently scheduled to launch on November 17 on the Nintendo Switch exclusively. It’s priced at $60 USD and available for pre-order now via the Nintendo eShop.
