Rockstar Games co-founder Dan Houser has officially launched his new studio Absurd Ventures, which looks to develop titles beyond video games.

According to reports, the studio is looking to create IPs that can also be utilized for “live-action, animation, video games, comic books, and more,” with the GTA V, Red Dead Redemption 2 and Bully creative director/lead writer stating that they “are building Absurd Ventures to create new universes and to tell great stories, wherever and however, we can.”

Gamespot adds that a previously-published VGC report stated that the studio was incorporated as early as June 23, 2021, meaning that project/s could already be in the works.
