Willem Dafoe Joins Cast of 'Beetlejuice 2'
Starring alongside Michael Keaton, Winona Ryder and more.
Willem Dafoe has officially been cast in the upcoming Beetlejuice 2.
Details of Dafoe’s character in the Warner Bros. sequel remain under wraps, but he does join an impressive cast comprised of the original Beetlejuice actors Michael Keaton, Winona Ryder and Catherine O’Hara, as well as Jenna Ortega and Justin Theroux, with Monica Bellucci in discussions to join.
Original director Tim Burton and composer Danny Elfman will return to helm and score the sequel over 30 years later, while Alfred Gough and Miles Millar penned the script. Tommy Harper, Plan B, Marc Toberoff and David Geffen will produce.
Beetlejuice 2 is set to premiere September 6, 2024.
Elsewhere in entertainment, Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 has crossed $500 million USD in the global box office in its second weekend in theaters.
