Cristiano Ronaldo Shows off New Jacob & Co. Heart of CR7 Baguette Watch
Just one of four new timepieces that feature the footballer on the face.
As a long-standing and close partner of luxury watch company Jacob & Co., global football icon Cristiano Ronaldo was recently at the brand’s Riyadh, Saudi Arabia store for its opening. At the luxury watchmakers biggest store yet, Ronaldo, a brand ambassador, donned a new timepiece from the brand.
At the opening event in Riyadh last week, the Portuguese footballer sported an emerald-colored gift. Taking to Instagram, Ronald shared his new “Heart of CR7 Baguette” timepiece as a part of the Jacob & Co x CR7 Epic X collection to celebrate the star player. The watches are designed to represent Ronaldo and his CR7 brand. The watch features a 44 mm case and X-shaped lugs, along with a smooth and polished bezel and a colored crown and flange. Powered by one of Jacob & Co.’s most emblematic calibers, the watch sees two vertical pillars that for the central part of the X shape by the lugs.
The wristpiece is one of four new watches that feature the soccer player. With a diamond-set bezel and an image of Ronaldo himself in his typical celebratory pose, the watch is valued at approximately $117,000 USD. The skeleton barrel cover is also shaped like soccer ball while a tainted sapphire crystal caseback with Ronaldo in his No. 7 jersey is highlighted.
The new Jacob & Co. store in Riyadh spans 2,400 square feet. The brand aims to open shops across all continents, including at least 10 more this year in locations like Mumbai, Hong Kong, Macao, and Bahrein. Take a look at the watch above or below.
