Following its rare Black Bay 58 collaboration with Tudor last month, cult New York label Rowing Blazers has returned with a fully-fledged Summer 2023 collection, filled with hyper colors and vintage island inspirations.

Governed by creative director Jack Carlson, the gender-inclusive lineup places textural patterns at the fore, with a penchant for Americana. Deadstock fabrics, splattered with kaleidoscopic paint, meet Indian madras, seersucker, ’80s-inspired neons and small-batch tie-dye, while cotton cable-knits form sweaters and plain-weave iterations land on shorts.

Elsewhere, double-breasted navy blazers, for both men and women, feature cross-stitched Latin cris-de-guerre under their lapels, and a ’90s “golf tees” print appears on intarsia and polo knits. In closing, terry towel sets, bug-covered trousers, and a “neon noir” cap and hoodie round out the highlights.

Upon closer inspection, the lookbook teases a legion of collaborations, including those with the Grateful Dead, ‘47, Major League Baseball, Seiko, Sperry and the Hawaiian surf imprint Jams World.

The first delivery from Rowing Blazers’ Summer 2023 collection will launch on Thursday, May 4, at 11 a.m. ET on the brand’s website and inside its flagship store, located at 8 Rivington Street in New York City. Peruse the collection in the gallery above.
