After a stealthy “Black/Volt” iteration was revealed earlier this week, we now receive news of another Nike Air Max Plus in “Cool Grey,” continuing the silhouette’s 25th-anniversary celebrations.

The upcoming greyscale pairs feature a charcoal mesh base and a liquid “Cool Grey” exoskeleton that takes design cues from palm trees. Jeweled Swooshes feature custom proportions, as they were initially hand-drawn by footwear designer Sean McDowell, and thick rubber bumpers are paired with leather wraparound mudguards. Hexagon Nike Air logos decorate the tongue tab while Tuned Air motifs are found across the heel counter, insoles, and bottoms. Rounding out the design are reflective strips on the toe box and a sole unit equipped with a Max Air cushioning system divided by a whale’s tail-shaped shank.

Take a closer look at the Nike Air Max Plus “Cool Grey” above and stay tuned for an official release date.

Elsewhere in footwear, MARINE SERRE launches its first sneaker, MS-Rise 22.
