Basketball is on the minds of millions across the world as the Los Angeles Lakers, Denver Nuggets, Boston Celtics and Miami Heat all contend for an NBA championship. However, that hasn’t stopped Rakuten and Converse from looking ahead to next season. The duo has assembled a special colorway of the Converse All-Star Hi that celebrates all thirty of the league’s teams for the 2023-24 season.

Appearing with its traditional canvas upper, the All-Star Hi takes on a black and off-white look that is loaded with logos. The left shoe carries red license plate text at the heel — nodding to the Western Conference’s primary color — while the right shoe takes on blue for the Eastern Conference. Matching this, the left shoe carries tonal graphics of the entire Western Conference’s team logo whereas the right shoe celebrates the Eastern Conference. NBA branding sticks out at the heel while typical Converse notes are joined by an off-white sole unit with black accents to complete the look.

The NBA Rakuten x Converse All Star Hi is available for pre-order now via Rakuten at a price of ¥17,985 JPY (approx. $130 USD). Delivery is expected to take place at the end of August but be sure to act fast as sizes are already selling out. Additional release opportunities may take place in Japan later this year.
