Champion and Rick Owens Reveal Fourth Collaboration

Champion and Rick Owens have re-united to continue their fused vision of contemporary athleticism.

The collection’s selection of jackets, asymmetrically cut tops, elongated sleeveless tops, relaxed sweatshirts and more come in soft terry, athletic mesh, crinkle nylon and organic cotton. What shines about the collaboration is that it aptly takes the essence Rick Owens’ dystopic and irrefutably bold style without making it too sporty. The collection is comfortable and wearable, but still stylish. Featuring both menswear and womenswear, the collection pieces come in shades of black, light gray, taupe and coral.

“WHEN I STARTED MY LABEL IN THE NINETIES, I HAND DREW MY LOGO AS A CROSS BETWEEN THE CHAMPION LOGO AND A JEAN PATOU PERFUME LABEL… THEY BOTH HAD A SIMILAR VINTAGE CALLIGRAPHIC FLAIR,” said Owens. “I WASN’T CONSCIOUS OF IT THEN, BUT I SEE NOW HOW THAT BALANCE HAS DEFINED MY ONGOING AESTHETIC.”
