Rick Owens DRKSHDW and Converse Modernize the TURBODRK Chuck 70 Laceless
Unveiled in “Dust” and “Pink” colorways.
Rick Owens‘ DRKSHDW sub-label first teamed up with Converse in 2021 and hasn’t slowed down since. After its debut Chuck 70 installment, the duo released several iterations of the square-toed design — most recently showcasing a fuzzy zebra print take.
For their second collaboration of 2023, Rick Owens DRKSHDW and Converse modernize the TURBODRK Chuck 70 with laceless appeal. Canadian musician Peaches fronts the collaborative campaign, rocking “Dust” and “Pink” colorways with the designer’s pointed-shoulder dresses.
Both pairs come fitted with textile uppers and exaggerated tongues, featuring TURBODRK-branded leather labels across the latter. The collaboration’s trademark square toe box is maintained, while the interiors boast suede Converse logos contrasted by a laceless configuration. Layered midsoles complete the offering with black detailing and brown rubber bottoms.
