Bottega Veneta Crafts Snake and Dinosaur Sculptures In Its Signature Intreccio Weave Leather
Yours for $1,150 USD apiece.

Matthieu Blazy‘s Bottega Veneta is more daring than ever, exploring every way leather can be unconventionally manipulated and used. For example, the House has delivered trompe-l’œil essentials crafted from fine Nappa leather, updating the everyday shirt into something inextricably luxurious, while leather has also appeared in a papery format on a new grocery-style bag. Now, Bottega Veneta exercises its House signature, the Intreccio weave, in order to create two new homeware objects: a snake and a dinosaur sculpture.
The Intreccio Nappa Dinosaur appears in “Barolo,” a deep-red hue that gives the 100% lambskin object a subtle matte finish. The three-dimensional friend is accented with a brass-toned Bottega Veneta-branded plaque, and is also accompanied by a snake.
Here, the House uses the same Intreccio weave leather but opts for a “Dark Green/Redstone” colorway to carve out the snake’s features. Both objects retail for £810/$1,150 USD and can be pre-ordered on Bottega Veneta’s website now.
