amongst few Unveils Its New Store in Abu Dhabi
The UAE’s leading streetwear brand begins its first-ever brick and mortar venture outside of Dubai.

Following its collaboration with Paperboy Paris at BRED Abu Dhabi, amongst few launched its Abu Dhabi store last night to friends, family and wider shared community, bringing together the city’s leading creatives and sneaker enthusiasts to celebrate the new space located in the capital city.
Extending their vision of an amongst few ecosystem, founders Michael Taylor and Florian Moser worked alongside architectural design firm shell+core to combine design cues of the Dubai flagship store within its new Abu Dhabi grounds. Located between the edge of Yas Island and the capital’s city center, partially hidden away from the neighboring mega malls, the store is underlined with a merging of raw materials, combining cement, steel and concrete. The space also sees subtle doses of natural ashwood, traditional curved architecture and a stunning broken wall that leads the cafe into the store and vice versa. Nodding to local heritage, the shop front offers a contemporary take of the city’s cultural “majlis” style seating and Port Mina views. The multidisciplinary design incorporates clean lines and sweeping angles that build a measured balance between simplicity and detail to further accentuate the classic premium ready-to-wear basics that amongst few is synonymous for.
Nestled in the 1,000sqft space is a lifestyle store and café that continues the brand’s aim to bridge the gap between retail, art, music, food and lifestyle – merging them into one cultural space open to all. With apparel, sneaker and accessory brands available to purchase including amongst few, Nike, Jordan, adidas, New Balance as well as a range of vinyl LP’s and their own blend of coffee beans and natural incense. Skateboarding also plays a big role within the new space with hardware and decks available exclusively within the brand new location.
amongst few will aims to open the floor to the local community in support of local arts and music programming alongside the burgeoning scene – from screenings to exhibitions and workshops – to build a foundation for community, creativity and collaboration.
“By providing the region with a means to connect and purchase street culture products in an authentic setting, we aim to provide positive growth for the local culture, while helping independent brands like ourselves nurture the next in line. We want to provide a creative platform for the region to help slash UAE’s stigma and display the city for what it really is, a melting pot of multi-national ingenuity,” expresses Michael Taylor, Co-Founder
