Coke Studio™ and Jon Batiste Capture “Real Magic” With New Single “Be Who You Are”

Coca-Cola’s Coke Studio has teamed up with Grammy award-winning singer and songwriter Jon Batiste to release the new track “Be Who You Are (Real Magic).” Serving as a global musical platform, Coke Studio assembled a wide range of emerging artists from the United States, United Kingdom, Canada, India, South Africa and more to uphold Coca-Cola’s “Real Magic” ethos, a celebration of the magic within human connections and the uniqueness of individuals that make the world more colorful. The inaugural single features Jon Batiste alongside artists J.I.D, NewJeans, Camilo and Cat Burns for the first of nine original artist collision songs for the program’s new season.

Penned by American singer-songwriter Jon Batiste, “Be Who You Are (Real Magic)” is presented as an anthem that champions the power of staying true to one’s authentic self in an effort to accept the differences in other people. “I am proud to partner with Coke to share a message of encouragement and humanity with the world through my music,” said Batiste., “The Coke Studio platform does great at harnessing their global reach to bring artists of different cultures together in celebration of our cultural differences and the ultimate oneness of us all. When I wrote “Be Who You Are (Real Magic)” I was inspired to create an anthem that captures the Real Magic that happens when we come together as our authentic selves.”

The award winning singer’s new single features an all-star collaborative cast –Atlanta-based rapper J.I.D, breakout K-pop group NewJeans, Grammy award-winning artist Camilo, and BRIT Award winner singer-songwriter Cat Burns. Coke 2023 includes an exciting roster of collision artist including: Imagine Dragons, Sam Smith, Afroto, Diljiit Dosanjh, Evdeki Saat, Inner City Youth Orchestra of Los Angeles, Jessie Reyez, Nasty C, Shae Gill, Shreya Ghoshal, XIN LIU, and Zack Tabudlo. Aside from the artist collision singles, each artist will also participate in their own exclusive Coke Studio Sessions. Coke Studio will launch an augmented digital hub sporting the look of a vintage record store to give its musical offerings a more immersive touch. Featured in the dedicated virtual space is an interactive album that also provides a digital experience inspired by the“Be Who You Are (Real Magic)” music video. For more interactivity, a digital avatar of Jon Batiste will guide users through the experience with the opportunity to access exclusive content of all 16 plus artists involved, play digital games and win exclusive prizes.

Jon Batiste’s “Be Who You Are (Real Magic)” music video and the Coke Studio global platform are available through Coke Studio’s website and run through September.
