BEAMS Digs Into Casual American Style for SS23
With technical jackets, knitwear and more.
BEAMS is keeping things calm, yet still inviting with its new offering for the Spring/Summer 2023 season. Taking hints from its previous style codes, the Japanese retailer’s latest digs into casual American style and subtle notes of Y2K fashion.
Moving from the ’90s to the early 2000s, the collection’s character also moves into subtle Ivy themes to accomplish its mission of offering elevated basics. Appearing in the collection is a selection of lightweight jackets, blazers, knitwear, shorts, cargo pants and chinos. But out of the standard categories, collection highlights include a two-toned technical jacket in shades of sage and deep jade alongside slate gray crinkled cargo pants.
