On-Foot Look at the Nike Air Ship "Every Game"
Appearing in a presentation similar to Nigel Sylvester’s “Bike Air” pair.
As storytelling from Nike continues to place a special emphasis on the brand’s history, silhouettes such as the Air Ship have re-entered the sneaker space. Following A Ma Maniére’s super-limited Air Ship collaboration last year, various general releases have been revealed. The latest to surface pays tribute to Michael Jordan’s University of North Carolina practice shorts that he’d wear underneath his NBA shorts every game for good luck.
Previously, Nigel Sylvester showed off a F&F-exclusive “Bike Air” collaboration that elevated this “Every Game” look with special heel text and a mini Swoosh at the toe. Now, we’ve been offered an on-foot breakdown of the general release version that is not associated with Sylvester. Its base favors a white leather build while “Diffused Blue” shaggy suede coats the Swooshes, lacing system and collar — reaching around the heel. “Every Game” text lands at the collar’s heel in an embroidered white script while an off-white midsole combines with a blue rubber outsole to complete the look.
For those interested in picking up a pair of the Nike Air Ship “Every Game,” it is currently expected to land on shelves starting May 10 via Nike and select retailers at a price of $140 USD.
