Nigel Sylvester has already cooked up a duo of Air Jordan 1 High collaborations alongside Jordan Brand — his esteemed distressed colorway and his “Noise Cancelling Pack” from 2018 — but he’s ready to expand his wings and link up with the Beaverton neighbors at Nike for a new project. The professional BMX rider took to Instagram to preview his forthcoming Nike Air Ship collaboration.
While we’ve only got a vantage point of the upper heel of the kicks, we can already tell that they’re going to bear a clean presentation and branded twist. Right away you’ll notice that Sylvester has remixed the silhouette to align with his career as he swapped out the traditional “Nike Air” heel embroidery for a “Bike Air” spell-out. Like most Air Ships that have hit the market, the base looks to be made with a crispy and smooth white leather build and accompanied by shaggy suede heel overlays and Swooshes that are treated with a cooler blue hue.
No official release information has been announced just yet, but you can likely expect this striking collaboration to launch in the coming months.
For other sneaker-related news, Supreme and Nike SB are rumored to be dropping a new batch of collaborative Dunk Lows and Highs later this year.
