Lumière Bricoleur and TABLEAU Team Up for Multicolored ‘LUCID SIDE TABLES’
Crafted from recycled acrylics.
The design duo, Lumière Bricoleur, and Copenhagen-based studio, TABLEAU, have reunited for a new eye-catching collaboration. Fusing their witty yet tasteful design aesthetics, the new collaboration envisions a series of multicolored side tables.
Entitled LUCID SIDE TABLES, the new collection features a selection of minimal yet contemporary pieces crafted from recycled acrylics. With a curved modular design, the tables come to life through a selection of prism-like color constructions in hues of fuchsia, violet, cobalt, flamingo, tangerine, algae, coral, turquoise, blood orange and brick. Taking six months to complete, the two entities wanted to create a single piece that perfectly blended their design styles.
“We threw a lot of spaghetti on the wall to see what sticked,” said TABLEAU’s creative director/founder, Julius Værnes Iversen. “A lot of complex forms and ideas emerged during the process, but in the end the most simple object came out on top.”
Check out the playful tables in the gallery above. The 8 designs launch on Wednesday, March 15 on the Lumière Bricoleur and TABLEAU websites.
