NEEDLES Revamps the Everyday Tracksuit With PURPLE THINGS Collab
A nine-piece capsule collection.
Japanese brands NEEDLES and PURPLE THINGS have come together for a comfort-focused and functional capsule collaboration. Taking both brands’ iconic motifs, the nine-piece collection features the nine-stripe pattern and butterfly branding from NEEDLES and of course, PURPLE THINGS’ purple color and applied it onto classic silhouettes.
This collection marks the first collaborative effort between the labels, basing the theme on camouflage as seen by the tiger stripe pattern. The NEEDLES x PURPLE THINGS capsule features an array of everyday casual pieces with combined design motifs from both brands. The track pants and jacket combo arrives in two colorways. While both of them feature the signature purple hue from PURPLE THINGS, the pieces also feature the typical nine stripes and butterfly motif from NEEDLES. One arrives in a solid purple color, while the other features the tiger camo print.
The collaboration also includes a multi-pocketed vest that is inspired by the U.S. military BDU jacket. Using heavy-weight mesh, the collection also includes the bucket hat and cap arriving in the camo pattern. A simple white t-shirt featuring co-branding of the two labels, the flower and butterfly graphic, is also a part of the collection. Additional bag accessories are also available.
The NEEDLES x PURPLE THINGS collaboration is available now at select retailers and online.
