Currently, Trae Young and the Atlanta Hawks are facing off against the Boston Celtics in the first round of the 2023 NBA Playoffs. While in the midst of some heavy competition, Young is set to be lacing up in his second signature shoe throughout the entire playoffs. In an homage to the Hawks, adidas has released a team colorway for the Young 2.

The shoe comes dressed in a core black, better scarlet and bold gold color scheme. The basketball shoe comes constructed in a knitted, semi-laceless black mesh upper. The adidas Trae Young 2 also features an upper with textile lining and red and gold contrasting accents as a nod to the Atlanta Hawks. The outsole utilizes Boost technology and is combined with Lightstrike cushioning to round out the design.

Look out for the adidas Trae Young 2 “Hawks” arriving on May 1 at select retailers and on adidas for $140 USD.

In other footwear news, the Nike Air Trainer 1 surfaces in “White/Wheat Brown.”
