Dr. Dre Releases Official 'The Chronic' Merch
To mark the 30th anniversary of ‘The Chronic.’
Interscope Records has released a new set of merchandise for the 30th anniversary for Dr. Dre‘s album, The Chronic.
The Chronic was the debut album of the American hip-hop producer and rapper. The mixtape was released in 1992 under his record label, Death Row Records and distributed by Interscope. This album was his first solo album after eh left the hip-hop group, N.W.A. and its label Ruthless Records over a financial dispute. The Chronic has been certified triple platinum, selling three million copies in the U.S. With the help of the successes of the album, Dre became one of the top ten best-selling American performing artist in 1993. The album itself spent eight months in the Billboard Top 10. To this day, The Chronic has become one of the most important and influential albums of the ’90s.
The merch collection features a range of hoodies, t-shirts, hats, and accessories. The hoodie and long-sleeve t-shirts are in brown and feature graphic elements that symbolize The Chronic.
