Louis Vuitton Crafts $87,500 USD Foosball Table, Luxe Footballs, and Other Sporting Goods

Luxury Houses have always created objects for their clientele’s high-flying lifestyles. Chanel released surfboards, Dior dropped gardening kits, Gucci has its chairs, and Balenciaga has its range of divisive “Objects.” Louis Vuitton, on the other hand, makes a variety of sporting goods that, if you so dared, could actually be useful on a daily basis.

For its latest sporting goods collection, LV ups the ante. It starts with small offerings like the $530 USD par golf towels, sunglasses pouches, jump ropes and the $4,600 USD chess game. But very soon, the House’s sporty numbers go on to astronomical heights.

Fans of football are in particular luck, as Louis Vuitton releases its own natural cowhide leather vintage-style soccer ball that will grow a honey-colored patina with use. It retails for $2,550 USD, and will match well with the $7,150 USD NBA x LV basketball hoop (designed for personal use given its smaller size) and the $87,500 USD epi leather foosball table.

On the topic of tables, a variety of billiard tables are also available, ranging from $107,000 USD to $131,000 USD depending on the leather used. Some are wrapped in the signature “Monogram Eclipse” canvas, while the more expensive variants get doused in leather, sporting hand-dyed leather suitcase-style corners, natural cowhide cue belts with hand-pressed studs, 16 balls with “Monogram Flower” patterns, a leather triangle with stitched and hot-stamped details, two accompanying cues covered with leather and natural cowhide, and more.
