Gucci Brings Alessandro Michele's Bold Designs to Home Décor
Including everything from wallpaper to candles.

Gucci has announced that it is moving into the world of homeware, with the Italian brand bringing Alessandro Michele‘s signature designs to a whole host of new pieces. The new “Décor” collection is filled with anti-minimalist pieces for around the home, which range from room-changing pieces such as wallpaper and folding screens, alongside smaller items including cushions and wooden chairs that each took 10 hours to make. For the debut Décor collection, Michele has also developed four new scents that feature in candles and incense.
Some of the motifs used are reminiscent of recent Gucci collections, with Michele taking inspiration from his work in the fashion world and the now ubiquitous snake featuring prominently throughout. Take a look at the full Décor range above, which will hit Gucci’s web store and physical stores at some point in September.
Gucci has also recently made the move into books, releasing the limited edition Hortus Sanitatis earlier this summer.
