Kali Uchis Delivers Sultry "Moonlight" Music Video
Taken from her latest album, ‘Red Moon In Venus.’
Kali Uchis has dropped off an accompanying music video for her Red Moon In Venus track, “Moonlight.”
Helmed by Colin Tilley and Sarah McColgan, the visual sees Uchis living the real life of dolls in a dollhouse, preparing for a fun night out with her friends. Red Moon In Venus dropped in early March and became the GRAMMY winner’s first top 10 effort, debuting at No. 4 on the Billboard 200 and featuring guest appearances from Omar Apollo, Don Toliver and Summer Walker.
“Red Moon In Venus is a timeless, burning expression of desire, heartbreak, faith, and honesty, reflecting the divine femininity of the moon and Venus. The moon and Venus work together to make key aspects of love and domestic life work well,” Uchis said in a statement. “This body of work represents all levels of love—releasing people with love, drawing love into your life and self-love. It’s believed by many astrologers that the blood moon can send your emotions into a spin, and that’s what I felt represented this body of work best.”
