As noted in its earlier appearances, it combines suede with leather throughout the upper, leaning on the brown “Palomino” hue with black offering ample contrast. Release is now expected to take place on September 2 via Nike SNKRS and select retailers at a price of $180 USD.

Original Story: A new look at the Air Jordan 1 High OG “Palomino” previews a dark brown suede colorway for the classic shoe. Shared online months ahead of the anticipated release, the Palomino follows 2020’s Air Jordan 1 Retro High OG in “Black Mocha,” which contrasted the deep brown details with crisp white side panels and a black logo.
With this latest release, designers created the heel, collar and toe, along with the Nike swoosh, in a light brown suede. For the overall body of the OG, dark black leather fills in the toe guard and mid-foot panel, creating a subtle juxtaposition.
The same brown shade of the suede reappears at the base of the sole, alongside a cream underfoot.
The Air Jordan 1 Retro High OG “Palomino” is expected to drop in September 2023, priced at $180 USD.
